Collection Field

1. What is a Collection Field

The Collection field represents a group of values generated by combining values from multiple other columns. Each value from each combined column is utilized as part of the collection of values within this field.


Please note that if you choose fields from multiple collection fields, the collection from the last selected field will serve as the source data.



2. Collection Field Options


2.1 Name 


The name of the collection field that you would like to see in the Mapping section.


2.2 Type 


The Type of field (which can be the only collection in this case) that the collection field will be.


2.3 Combine column  


The Columns that you would like to combine and use in the collection field.


3. Collection Field Example and how to use


Example: Combining Inventory Product Title and Inventory Price


First, go to Mapping, and on the bottom left side click on the "+" and choose "Collection Field".

 

 


First, we will name the Field accordingly ( In our case we will name it Product Title and Price).



The type we won't choose because it can only be a collection.


And lastly choose the fields you want to combine, as we mentioned earlier, it will be Product Title and its Price.


When we finish configuring, it will look like this:

Simply connect it to the appropriate "Collection" type field.
