How to integrate Intercom

Description


Intercom is a Customer Communications Platform. With Intercom, you can build better customer relationships through personalized, messenger-based experiences across the customer journey. The world's most successful companies, like Atlassian, Shopify, and New Relic use Intercom to deliver conversational customer experiences through chat, bots, and personalized messaging.

Possible Task Triggers are: on schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), upon an API call event or upon successful completion on trigger task.



Steps



Step 1.


Either while Creating a Task or in the Integrations menu.


Enter the name of the integration in the search bar.

Step 2.


Enter the Name of the Integration.

You can optionally also enter a description.

Step 3.


You will be prompted for the Login.

A new tab or window will emerge. Please log in to your Intercom account.

Note: if you see the screen below, please make sure you have the permission rights correctly setup to add integrations for your Intercom account or contact your administrator, as well as double-checking the Intercom limitations on the amount of integrations and the amount already in use!


Authorizing SyncSpider permission

To check/enable access and permission rights, on your Intercom account please proceed to the Teammates section of your settings menu, where you can edit the permissions of each team-member.
