How to Configure Tax Preferences for Shopware 6 Orders

Created by Aleksandra Furundzic, Modified on Tue, 29 Oct at 2:58 PM by Aleksandra Furundzic

SyncSpider has introduced a new feature in the target configuration for exporting orders to Shopware 6, allowing businesses to choose whether too include (Gross) or exclude (Net) tax, providing flexibility to better match your business’s pricing structure.

This feature helps align Shopware's pricing with local tax requirements and provides more control over how order totals are calculated.

Say you want to transfer your orders from WooCommerce to your Shopware 6 store.

To set this up in SyncSpider, start by creating a new task and selecting WooCommerce as your Source Integration, with Orders as the entity you want to transfer.

Next, choose Shopware 6 as your Target Integration, and again select Orders as the target entity.

After setting up your source configuration, proceed to the Target Configuration screen.

Here, you’ll see the tax configuration option box labeled 'Use net product prices instead of gross prices', allowing you to decide how prices will appear in your Shopware 6 store:

Checking the box will apply Net pricing, which excludes tax.

Leaving it unchecked will apply Gross pricing, which includes tax.
