Extract fields from string field represents a collection field consisting of pair of fields which are extracted from string value based on each pair and pair separator.

2.4 Field 1 name 


The name of the first field you are using to extract fields from a string.


2.5 Field 2 name 


The name of the second field you are using to extract fields from a string.


2.6 Type


Text, Number, or Date from the specific field


2.7 String field to extract from  


A field you will be extracting the string from.





3. Example and how to use it


In this example, a field contains a value in the format of:

 'attributename/attributeValue1|attributename/attributeValue2'. 

By separating each pair using the '|' symbol and further dividing the pairs with the '/' symbol, we can create two pairs. Each pair will have the attribute name and its corresponding attribute value extracted and assigned to separate fields.


The "Extracted values" field has been updated to reflect the following format. 

These extracted values can now be utilized without any restrictions to map them to the desired fields in the mapping section.
