1. What is a Simple Collection Field

The simple collection field represents one multiple values text field in which values are made by using several other column values.


Each value of each combined column will be used as a collection of values for this field.



2. Simple Collection's Field Options



Here are the settings for the Simple Collection Field:

 


2.1 Name  


The name of the collection field you would like to see in the Mapping section.



2.2 Type  



The Type of the field, for Simple collection, can be only the Collection field type.



2.3 Include Field names  


This will add a new field in the collection which will represent the names of fields selected from the schema.



2.4 Skip Empty Values 


If checked, fields with empty values will be skipped from the Collection.



2.5 Field Values 


Here you can type out the values of the fields that you will be using in the Simple Collection field.



2.6 Combine Column 


With this function you can combine all desired columns into a single field.



3. Example and how to use it


Let us give you an example:

 

IT Scope to Shopify

 

IT Scope has Images as fields that are separate, so we want to add them to a small collection field so we can map them with Shopify in one Collection field.

 

We can do this by going to the mapping section, and on the bottom left corner click on the "+" sign then click on "Simple Collection Field". 

 


Here are the settings for the Simple Collection Field:

 

Find the field you are looking for and click on the "+" sign do that until you add all the image Fields.

 

When you are finished, It should look something like this:

That is it for mapping the Simple collection field.

 

With that done, map it with the collection for Shopify Field,
