How to integrate ShipStation

Description


ShipStation is a comprehensive shipping solution that enables online retailers to manage orders from over 70 sales channels and 20 shipping carriers in one place. Designed to streamline eCommerce fulfillment, ShipStation automates essential tasks like order processing, label printing, and tracking, helping businesses of all sizes enhance efficiency and accuracy in shipping operations. 


By integrating ShipStation with SyncSpider, users can connect ShipStation’s capabilities directly to their other tools, minimizing repetitive tasks and automating order fulfillment.

Tasks can be triggered by following events:

 

• Following the successful completion of a different task

• API call




Steps to Integrate ShipStation



Step 1. Add Integration on SyncSpider

 

Either while Creating a Task or in the Integrations menu.


Enter the name of the integration in the search bar.





Step 2. Naming the Integration  


Enter the Name of the Integration.

You can optionally also enter a description.




Step 3. Enter ShipStation Credentials


In this step, it's important to note that the "Username" and "Password" fields are used for your API Key and API Secret respectively—not your ShipStation account login details.




On the integration screen above, there is a message clarifying that your API Key should be entered in the Username field, and your API Secret should go in the Password field to avoid confusion. 


It also includes a link to ShipStation's API documentation for more information on locating and using your API credentials. 



Once you have enter the required ShipStation credentials, and click on the "Finish" button.
