SendPulse is an email marketing platform with additional channels: SMS, web push notifications, Facebook and WhatsApp chatbots. Create mobile-friendly emails with an easy to use drag-and-drop editor. You can send marketing campaigns, trigger-based emails or set up autoresponders.

Step 1.

Either while Creating a Task or in the Integrations menu.

Enter the name of the integration in the search bar .

Step 2.

Enter the Name of the Integration.

You can optionally also enter a description .

And press next.

Step 3.

You will be prompted for the "API Key". (Access Token)

Step 4.

To obtain your "API Key" (Access Token) you will have to navigate to your SendPulse dashboard first and find your "API ID" and "API Secret".

To acquire them we need to go to "Account Settings".

Then to "API".

Here we will find our credentials needed to send the request to acquire the "API Key".

Step 5.

With these credentials we will move on to Postman here to send a request to gain the "API Key" (Access Token)

Set the request to "POST" and paste this URL under it :

It will look like this:

Now we move on to the "Body" where we will set all the required fields to gain our "API Key" (Access Token).

First set the type to "form data" then for the keys and values type out:

Key:                                                 Value:

grant_type                                      client_credentials

client_id                                          (Your API ID that you acquired before)

client_secret                                   (Your API Secret that you acquired earlier)

After that we will click "Send" on the top right corner to send the request to postman and acquire our "API Key" (Access Token).

As we can see we acquired the API Key as a response under the request that we gave to Postman.

Copy and paste the API Key (Access Token) to SyncSpider and click Finish!

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need this token to sign each API request. Note that the token is only valid for one hour and after expiry, it requires renewal — in this case, you should repeat Step 5. Besides, for security reasons, users can update the API ID and API Secret values in their SendPulse account settings. Once you have done that, generate a new access token.
