Rocket.Chat provides one team inbox for all client communication, enabling companies to support customers on their favorite channels: Email, Messenger, Twitter, Whatsapp, SMS & LiveChat. Combine all messages across channels on Rocket.Chat.
The task can be triggered on following events:
• on successful completion of a different task
• API call
Either while Creating a Task or in the Integrations menu.
Enter the name of the integration in the search bar.
Enter the Name of the Integration.
You can optionally also enter a description.
You will be prompted for the Base URL, X-Auth-Token and X-User-ID.
To obtain X Auth Token and X User ID, go to your Rocket.Chat dashboard and in the upper-left corner of the screen click on your profile image, as shown in the picture below:
Next, from the dropdown menu, click on "My Account".
In the upper-left corner of the screen click on "Personal Access Tokens", as shown in the picture below:
Enter the name of your choice for the Access Token and then click on the "Add" button, shown in the picture below:
Now copy the generated Auth Token and ID Token to their respective fields on the SyncSpider website, as shown in the pictures below:
For the Base URL, simply copy the address shown in the address bar when on Rocket.Chat dashboard, as shown below:
And paste it on the appropriate field on the SyncSpider website. Once done, click on "Finish".
