Description
Apart from creating a regular task as explained in How to Create a Task it is also possible to create a task based on a template which features a set of standard mapping that is most frequently used.
Creating a new Task by Template
To create a Task by Template you will have to click the dropdown arrow located on the right side of the "Create a new Task" button as displayed below:
When the dropdown is pressed the "Create from Template" option appears,
Click this to go to the Template Choice menu.
Choosing a Template
The Templates presented to you in this screen will be based on the Integration already present on your account.
The templates offered to you in this screen will vary based on the Integrations that are already present in your Organization
When a Template is chosen a new task will be created with the picked integrations.
From that point on all you will need to do is indicate the task which Integration of the instance you would like to use for the template as depicted below.
This is done for both the Source and Target Integration.
When the Source and Target are selected you are presented with the Configuration of the Integrations,you can adjust this to have the desired configuration specific to your use case or leave it as is.
Once this is all done you will reach the Mapping screen and will notice that the fields are already mapped only leaving small edits to be done to make the task fit your use case!
